WVU director of athletics Oliver Luck has put out a RFP (request for proposals) for the school’s Tier 3 media rights. For those unfamiliar, the Tier 3 rights include all of the athletic department’s broadcasting and marketing inventory which will not go directly back to the conference as Tier 1 or Tier 2 rights. Just a couple days after the Big 12 named a new commissioner, the Big East is now losing theirs and will have to begin to search for a replacement. John Marinatto resigned on Monday. He served as commissioner of the Big East Conference for just three years. “After a great deal of thought and prayer, I have decided to step down as Commissioner of the Big East Conference and formally advised our Board of Directors,” Marinatto said in a statement released by the Big East....
