Kevin Noreen is officially a Mountaineer

Kevin Noreen’s AAU coach Jerry Robertson told wvmetronews that Noreen signed with West Virginia. Noreen is already in Morgantown and is enrolled in summer classes. Noreen (6’10, 220) was the Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year. He averaged 36.5 points and 16 rebounds per game. He orginally signed with Boston College, but was release from his LOI after the firing of Al Skinner. Huggins expected to sign Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year

Bob Huggins is expected to sign Kevin Noreen of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Noreen is a 6’10, 220 pound power forward. He originally signed to play at Boston College, but was released from his letter-of-intent after the firing of former BC coach Al Skinner. WVU offers Chicago guard Phil Greene (2011)

Phil Greene was in Morgantown on Saturday and Sunday for the Elite Camp. His goal was to come to the camp and play well enough to earn a scholarship offer from the WVU coaching staff. Greene accomplished that goal as he was one of the more impressive players at the camp. Larry Harrison took him into his office and offered him a full scholarship.

Kyle Cain back home after visit to Morgantown

Kyle Cain returned home from his visit to Morgantown and according to all reports he had nothing but good things to say about Coach Bob Huggins and all of the players. Cain was very impressed with the family atmosphere around the program and how well he was received. The 6’7 forward from New Hampshire Prep has now taken four official visits and still has one remaining. He will use that last visit on either Alabama or Arizona State.
