Everhart to Become WVU Assistant

The West Virginia men’s basketball team is about to add a new coach. Former Duquesne head coach Ron Everhart is expected to be named the new WVU assistant coach, filling the void created by the departure of former assistant Jerrod Calhoun to Fairmont State. No official announcement has yet been made, but Everhart is listed on the WVU directory as being a staff member. An official announcement is expected within the next few days. Paul Williamson to Transfer

WVU freshmen walk-on guard Paul Williamson has been granted his release from the West Virginia basketball program according to WVU SID Bryan Messerly. They spoke to WV Illustrated about how difficult it was to sit out this...

Updated Bracket Challenge Standings

We’re down to the Final Four, and nearing the end of the Tournament Bracket Challenge. I was in the lead after the Sweet 16, but my bracket went up in flames after Michigan State and North Carolina were both sent home packing. Thanks a lot Kendall Marshall! RBrown2011 is the current leader, and appears to be in great shape to win the whole thing. He has all four Final Four teams right, and has Kentucky (who looks unbeatable) as his evenutal champion. To view...
